Replace the unhealthy, with the healthy by using:

 

 

  • Fresh, raw ingredients whenever possible.

 

  • Alternative flours (almond, buckwheat, quinoa, sprouted grains, etc..)

 

  • Natural sugars, like honey, blackstrap molasses, pure stevia.

 

  • Sea Salt

 

  • Red or green peppers, cayenne, jalapenos, etc..

 

  • Healthy oils, like olive oil, coconut oil, flax seed oil, coconut butter, ghee, organic butter, etc..

 

  • Always buy organically grown foods!

 

  • Free range animals are healthier and have less fat content (even if you don’t eat meat, the dairy products are also healthier).

 

  • Quinoa, brown rice, basmati rice, couscous, barley, etc..

 

 

 

 

 

Things to avoid as a general rule:

 

 

  • Highly processed, packaged foods!

 

  • White, refined flour

 

  • White, refined sugar and artificial sweeteners

 

  • Table salt

 

  • Black pepper

 

  • Margarine and unhealthy oils and fats

 

  • Non-organic meats, produce, dairy, etc..

 

  • Fatty meats

 

  • White rice
